  1. One of the few social media interviews which I thought he had some great things to say ; especially about the part about ‘being nice’ =)

  2. Great job on the interview. I admire Pete leveraging the Mashable community to allow its members to contribute and sustain some of its valued organizations. Great stuff! Now, who can WE help?

  3. Great interview, Nicole! I attended one of the NYC Summer of Social Good events and was very impressed – it’s so great to see so many diverse people coming together to do something so great!

I agree with Emily – who can WE help?

  4. It is great to see someone who controls a pretty big media outlet have such a grounded view of just being good and doing good in the world.

  5. Well done to you both! Nicole, really brilliant job of getting Pete to open up about where things are now. I KNOW that this is a platform to change the world.

    Let’s!!! :-)

  6. Great interview! A very relaxed and causal interview with very valuable content from one the best thought leaders in the business today. He has also built a wonderful staff to generate huge engagement factor because they all seem to understand and convey they are a part of an ecosystem of success!

The Summer of Social Good was a great project that really energized and focused a base of people that may have been bombarding the system individually, but through this gain much more success as a collective ecosystem than a fragmented I can do it on my own path.

One thought on Peter’s sarcasm comment. It can work if you use the #sarcasm hashtag. Then people get point and understand the thoughtfulness you took to understand the context and content you are conveying….just a little helpful hint. This allows in many occasions to keep things fun (face it we all like to do it once in a while)

Wonderful job Nicole! Great questions and interview style to get great content. People watching this can learn if you are out to help in this social media landscape and not looking for the gotcha more information and connection can be made. Peter and you are living proof of this example!

ps. sorry for delay and the overuse of ecosystem, it’s kind of been my word choice lately

  7. Great interview Nicole:)
    I look forward to more!
